Ma-Chis Tribe LCITE is awarded the Certificate of the Eagle Feather
The Ma-Chis Tribe has been awarded the Certificate of the Eagle Feather for outstanding leadership in Indian business. The Ma-Chis is the first state-recognized tribal government to receive 8(a)certification from the United States Government.
It was presented to the Tribe in Montgomery, Alabama on 11 November
2007 by Eliose P. Josey, Executive Director of the Alabama Indian Affairs
Commission.
